1.0% Colloidal Oatmeal: Extracted from powdered, boiled oat extract, this emollient is rich in soothing antioxidant compounds, like beta glucan, and used for its redness-reducing abilities.

Sclerocarya Birrea (Marula) Seed Oil: This super-absorbable oil, high in critical antioxidants and omegas 6 and 9, helps moisturize and nourish skin for a healthy glow.

Shorea Stenoptera Seed Butter: Aka illipe butter. Derived from the Shorea stenoptera tree, this super-rich plant butter is rich in fatty acids and is intensely moisturizing for skin.

Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil: An intensely moisturizing seed oil rich in fatty acids and antioxidant compounds.

Rosa Canina Fruit Oil: Aka rose hip seed oil. This lightweight, moisturizing oil is extracted from the seeds of the rose hip fruit and used for its high fatty acid content (mainly linoleic acid, followed by linolenic and oleic acids).

Linolenic and Linoleic Acids: Soothing fatty acids that play a key role in maintaining hydration levels, improving skin texture and suppleness while improving acid-mantle strength

Multi-Amino-Acid Blend: A mix of quick-absorbing amino acids soothes, strengthens, and moisturizes skin.

A Note

Some of the best things we’ve made have been accidents. (If you don’t know Lala’s origin story, let’s just say you’ll never look at salad dressing the same again.) Our newest is no exception. One day, my husband, Charles, was at the sink surrounded by products. “I wish you made a shaving cream,” he said. I told him to mix Slaai with Beste and that should do it.
