With its ultra-concentrated blend of 11 peptides, Protini™ Powerpeptide Resurf Serum delivers plump, bouncy skin while targeting a dull, uneven complexion. How to use

Shake gently before use. Apply to a clean, dry face, avoiding the eye area. May also be applied to the chest and backs of hands. Follow (or mix) with your choice of Drunk Elephant moisturiser. During the daytime, may also be combined with C-Firma™ Day Serum for added brightening and firming benefits. Follow with Umbra. Protini™ Powerpeptide provides gentle chemical exfoliation on its own, so it is not necessary to also use T.L.C. Framboos™ or Babyfacial on the same day. 

WARNING: Use only as directed. Avoid eye contact. Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs and consult a physician. Use a sunscreen daily while using this product and for a week after ceasing use. Product’s contact with skin must be of limited frequency or duration.

Ingredients

Lactic Acid (10%): Derived from the fermentation of sugar, lactic acid is an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) that exfoliates the skin by dissolving the bonds that hold dead cells together. Lactic acid is considered to be a milder, more hydrating AHA. 

Signal Peptide Complex: 11 signal peptides (made up of amino acids, which form proteins in the skin) and plant-derived growth factors help to boost skin’s self-renewal, binding moisture to skin and plumping, firming and restoring bounce. 

Multi-Amino-Acid Blend: A mix of quick-absorbing amino acids soothes, strengthens and moisturises skin.

Snow Mushroom Extract: Known for its powerful hydration-boosting properties, this ingredient adds potent antioxidant benefits to skin while helping defend against dehydration. 

Sodium Hyaluronate: With a smaller molecular weight than hyaluronic acid, it is able to penetrate skin and deliver intense hydration to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and promote firmness.

Sodium PCA: A powerful electrolyte with potent antioxidant benefits, plant-derived sodium PCA is identical to the form naturally present in skin and plays a vital role in helping maintain hydration levels in skin, improving barrier strength and lipid content and protecting against environmental dehydration.

Tocotrienols: Used for their potent antioxidant properties, skin-soothing abilities and moisture content, tocotrienols are a powerful, concentrated form of vitamin E. 

Squalane: Derived from olives, squalane is a natural moisturising factor (NMF), which means it works exactly the same as the form of squalane that is found naturally in skin. Squalane acts as both a moisturising agent and a natural antioxidant that soothes and prevents water loss from the surface of the skin without leaving behind a greasy feel. 

Green Tea Seed Oil: This moisturising, fatty-acid-rich oil derived from the seeds of the green tea plant contains powerful antioxidant xanthines (like caffeine) and polyphenols (such as epigallocatechin gallate, epigallocatechin and epicatechins), which play a critical role in defending skin against environmental – particularly UV-generated – free radical damage.

Virgin Marula Oil: This super-absorbable oil, high in critical antioxidants and omegas 6 and 9, helps moisturise and nourish skin for a youthful glow.
